Daddy’s Boujee Little Girl 

 

In her last conversation with her father, Phillip, Philesha shared that she would be starting her journey into exclusively servicing curly hair. His last words to her were that he was proud of her. His mind would be blown at how far his little girl would take that vision. 

 

Philesha went on to train under and work with many of the top curly hair specialist in the world including Lorraine Massey herself. In 2017, she opened Capelli and Trucco, a quaint studio in Long Beach, CA that quickly became the make-shift laboratory in which she carefully crafted the Boujee Cut. 

 

Philesha has become a trusted leader in the curl service industry and now serves and educates women of Greater Los Angeles in her new salon, Boujee Curls.
