There have been many changes this year and I felt it was only right to sit down and tell you exactly what's been going on.
Back story, many of you have been with me since the Devacurl, Devachan salon days in Culver City. When that salon closed abruptly in 2017, I decided to open my first suite location in Long Beach, CA. I was blessed to meet so many new clients and build clientele in the LB/South Bay Area.
In 2020, just like most of the country, I was forced to close down due to the Corona Virus pandemic. During this time, I decided to save up and find a new salon home.
In 2021, I opened Boujee Curls salon in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA! The salon was my dream. After being in the new location for a few months, that dream quickly became a nightmare. I experienced racial vandalism, a termite infestation, leaking pipes and plumbing that is not up to code. The owners of the building have been less than compassionate and practice predatory leasing. My clients and I deserve to be in a safe, welcoming environment and that's exactly what I decided to find.
As of October 2023, I have officially found the new salon home. For good! We have moved into a salon suite, located in Los Alamitos, CA. This location allows me to be closer to home and continue to serve the Long Beach/South Bay Area. I'm closer to Orange County curlies too! A win is a win.
For many of you, this is the third or fourth location we have been in together. I am so blessed to have the continued support over the years and pray you love the new location as much as I do! See you in Los Al! XOXO
